I have spoken to the Adrian Moss at Rickman motocycles who has build a Metiese b44 weslake for Don Rickman recently and he will be sending me loads of infomation on the weslake conversion including drawings. When he finds it that is!

The rebuild
Here is the bike to be restored. This picture was taken in the early 70's. The first bike bought was a Rickman Metisse with a BSA B44 powerplant complemented with a Weslake 500cc conversion kit. After a year of racing, a Cheney built B44 was bought as a spare. Both bikes were used for a while but it was decided the Cheney was the better frame so the engines were swapped over and this one of a kind Cheney B44/Weslake Victor was born........
